Parent Workshops

Healthy Balanced Families is a 2-hour workshop that includes direct instruction from a Registered Dietitian and a Licensed Child Psychologist to help provide parents with the tools to improve both the physical and psychological health within their family.  Parents will learn about healthy dietary food choices, how to build balanced meals and snacks, how to set goals that they can continue long-term and how to approach their child/family with these changes.  This is an intimate workshop with space for parents to ask questions and focus on parents’ specific needs (up to 5 parents included at a time).  Each participant will receive meal and snack ideas as well as how to set up healthy meals.  Parents will also learn how to set limits regarding screen time and sleep schedules.
