About
Dr. Amanda Rauf
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and former clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School specializing in child and family therapy. I have many years of clinical experience working with children and families from culturally-diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings such as hospitals, schools, and within the community. Among my areas of expertise are early childhood and behavioral difficulties, pediatric weight management, parent training, anxiety, depression, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I also specialize in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy.

My therapeutic style is interactive and engaging. I provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address childhood and family challenges. With compassion and understanding, I work collaboratively with each family to help them build on their strengths to overcome their current challenges.

Prior to my transition to full-time private practice, I was the Lead Psychologist at Boston Children's Hospital through the Optimal Wellness for Life (OWL) program.
